Parking
The closest parking (6 cars max) is on North Road sign pointed Pine Point Loop. Further along North Road near the intersection with Old North Road, there is another bigger lot to start the walk further along the Pond.
Hike
This place is great for kids of all ages. We hiked along Beaver Loop to get the best views of Meadow Pond with the dogs and teens scrambling happily among the rocks and beds of pine needles. 10 minutes in there’s a picnic table overlooking the water perfect to stop for lunch and take in the scenery.
Pine Point Loop is a flat 30-40 minute 2.1-mile shady walk ending with a bridge over the stream feeding into the Pond. We saw one very dedicated trail runner on our visit.
